Lawrence began his career in the beauty industry as a student, apprentice,
and nail technician at the renowned “Donahue Salon Systems
Professional Hair Design
Center” located in Philadelphia
PA. After graduation he quickly realized one must go beyond the basics to acquire
the skills needed to make it in today’s world of hair design both euro and ethnic alike. So he went on to attend “Dudley Cosmetology University's
Advanced Study Center”
in Kernersville NC, where
he graduated as the president of class #449.
While working as a stylist in Center City of Philadelphia, in
the pursuit of knowledge he began to train at facilities such as “The Redken Exchange” (NYC), “Pivot Point
International” (Chicago IL), and “The Wella Studio” (NYC) just to name a few.
After opening “Maxx Salon Services” and serving as an educator for ”Zotos International”
Lawrence was offered a position with the “Yellow Strawberry Global Salon” to come
assist with the opening of their new Atlanta Location. Although
the “Yellow Strawberry” has long since left Atlanta Lawrence decided to remain as the city has much to offer. Currently, working in the prestigious
northern Atlanta suburb of Alpharetta… Doing what he
loves. That’s delivering strong consistent cuts and beautiful colors, day in and day out. Living by the motto “Every woman deserves beautiful, healthy hair”!
